Children & Families

Advent places a high priority on discipling and caring for the youngest members of our parish. To that end, the Children's Ministry focuses on those in our church who are 0-18 years old through Sunday morning children's ministry classrooms, student meetings for those in middle school and high school, and special events that build a child's sense of community and mission. Children's classrooms and student meetings focus on introducing young people to the story of the Scriptures, spiritual practices that will feed their faith, and an encouraging community of peers and leaders following Jesus alongside them. In addition to attending these opportunities, here are some ways to connect more deeply as a volunteer:

• Designated Substitute

We are always looking for caring and kind adults who would like to volunteer with kids, either as a classroom leader, a classroom assistant, or a friendly face at the check-in station.  If you are interested in volunteering, please reach out to Deacon Ben.
