All readers of Dante's Paradiso are invited to a Tuscan Feast after worship on Sunday, April 27 in the Youth Room. Participants are welcome (but not required) to bring a favorite charcuterie item to share. Readers are welcome to bring their +1 people for the meal as long as those people don't mind listening to us talk about Dante. Please RSVP here. Didn't finish the journey with Dante and Beatrice? Holy Saturday Easter Vigil & Break-the-Fast Feast

This is the moment when we cross over with Christ from Lent into Easter, from the grave to resurrection! Join us as we light the Easter fire and Christ's light breaks into the darkness, trace God's story of redemption through scripture readings, renew your baptismal vows, and add your volume to the "Great Noise" as we ring in the first Alleluia of Easter (bring a noisemaker with you for this)! Afterward, we continue the celebration with the Break-the-Fast potluck feast!

Tenebrae
Apr
17

Tenebrae

The name Tenebrae (the Latin word for “darkness” or “shadows”) is an extended meditation upon, and a prelude to, the events in our Lord’s life between the Last Supper and the Resurrection. The most conspicuous feature of the service is the gradual extinguishing of candles and other lights in the church until only a single candle, considered a symbol of our Lord, remains. Please note that while children are welcome, no childcare will be available for this service and it may be challenging for younger children.
