Parish Event Calendar

At Advent, we value the chance to gather and connect.  Some of our regular opportunities for connection and discipleship include:

  • A spiritual haven for individuals 18-28. Join us for art, games, snacks, thoughtful discussion, and Evening Prayer from the BCP.

  • Led by parishioners, these Sunday morning seminars seek to encourage the people of Advent as we share this pilgrimage called “The Christian Life.”

  • A time to gather for conversation on Sunday mornings. Each session includes a brief group discussion, followed by smaller table conversations where we can connect and support one another, all while enjoying a warm cup of coffee.

  • Featuring silent time for personal prayer, scripture passages, and traditional prayers for the evening, Compline is offered as a space to breathe and encounter the Lord midway through the week. This contemplative service also employs candles, incense, and Taizé music.

  • all are welcome to our community gaming guild! We offer a wide variety of board games, card games, RPGs, and MTG tournaments. Come for high adventure and bring a snack to share.

  • A midweek service that combines the morning prayer liturgy with listening prayer and Lectio Divina. Typically attended by 10-15 people seated in a circle, this is a time of strong connection—both to God and each other.

  • Students in 6th-12th grade are invited to join us on Sunday mornings in the Youth Room for a time to connect over treats, games, and thoughtful discussion.

If you have further questions about ways to get involved at Advent, reach out to Robin Lemke, our Director of Care and Connection.
