The Live Liturgy will run about 45 minutes. It is a live event, starting on Sunday morning promptly at 10:00 a.m. followed by a time of a more private gathering via Zoom.

After Worship

Immediately after the Live Liturgy join us in the Parish Hall for a time of more private gathering.

Each Sunday this space will be hosted by a pastor who will guide us through conversation designed to connect us with each other. Join with the Zoom link below. The passcode to join will be provided at the end of the Live Liturgy.

C.S. Lewis’ Feast Day Celebration

C.S. Lewis was one of the most influential writers of the 20th Century. He also happened to be thoroughly “Anglican” in his Christian commitment. Advent Anglican has a yearly tradition of gathering to read from his body of work (usually at a pub). Under the duress of COVID, we’ll have to settle for Zoom this year.

Please select a quotation or passage (no longer than ONE paragraph) from your favorite novel, essay, or apologetic to share. Deacon Jeremiah will present a fifteen minute overview of Lewis’ life and legacy as preamble to our corporate reading. For fun, consider changing your Zoom background to a decorum suitable for Narnia, Magdalene College, The Eagle and Child, or Perelandra.

Prayer Chapel

There is no Prayer Chapel meeting this coming week. Please watch this space for the next meeting date.

Prayer Chapel is a time for parishioners to share personal needs, and both give and receive care from each other, particularly through group prayer. It is held on Zoom, at 7:00 p.m. on select Tuesdays.

Intercessory Prayer

If you’d like Fr. Aaron to pray with you, please sign up for a 25-minute one-on-one prayer session. When you sign up, please include your cell number in the “notes” and he will call you at the appointed time.
